While Verizon has already updated lots of a Android inclination to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, there are still users who are watchful for their central update. For example, Motorola Droid Bionic and Motorola Droid Xyboard 8.2 users.
Although ICS for both inclination was ostensible to arrive this quarter, Motorola now says they’re going to get a new chronicle of Android in a fourth entertain of a year – hence in Oct a earliest.
What extraordinary is that a Droid Xyboard 10.1 (which, solely for a bigger display, is identical to a Xyboard 8.2) has already perceived a Ice Cream Sandwich fix.
Anyway, let’s wish that both a Droid Bionic and a Xyboard 8.2 will be updated in a initial half of a fourth quartet. We’ll let we know when it happens anyway.
I am ill of Motorola and their delays. iPhone 5 here we come.
You’re a small late to a title with this one. And given Motorloa/Verizon unsuccessful to keep their word to a “first entertain of Q3″, this is frequency something newsworthy. My outing to Verizon Wireless yesterday (not one of those certified retailers) greated me with discordant news as a technician behind a opposite told me there was a slim possibility a Bioinc would get a update. He even showed me their 4th Qtr projection shade and a Droid Bionic was not listed. But…He also offering me a $100 trade-in of my stream bionic to any Motorola phone already on ICS. The catch, I’d have to give adult my total information plan.
that is a bad choice to make. Motorola might have mislaid a credit in this though don’t retaliate yourself by switching to “iOS6pocalypse”
Verizon has offering a droid razr to reinstate a bionic. we called and complained a week ago and they offering to boat it out USPS for free.
Well during this indicate i have no some-more room for damaged promises, it’s time for some action!!! we Want to see Punit Soni (Oscar Goldman) Put a Droid Bionic (Steve Austin) cracked pieces behind together again!
Doubt it. Just use a rom get on with life rather than wait…
What did u contend to get them to give we a razr?
…or they could skip ics altogether and “reward” us with a double upgrade…to jb???
This is removing so irritating sooooooo many fake promises
