Verizon has announced that dual of a Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphones are receiving updated to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich as of today.

The handsets are a Motorola Droid Bionic (launched in Sep 2011, and no longer accessible for squeeze during Verizon), and a LG Lucid 4G (released in Apr this year, and now costing $49.99 on contract).
