Have we ever sent a summary from Samsung’s ChatOn present messaging service? Or even received one? Me neither, that creates it tough to trust that an implausible 100 million people now make adult a “global subscriber base”.
That figure, of course, is according to Samsung, who are citing China and India as a pivotal markets for ChatOn, that might go somehow to explaining a suspiciously high numbers. Admittedly, it’s been baked in to flattering most each smartphone Samsung have put out given Oct 2011, from Bada to Windows Phone devices, and is accessible in app form opposite all vital smartphone platforms, as good as being accessible on desktop computers, that can’t harm either.
Of those 100 million, Samsung are staying tight-lipped over how many are active users, and how many were hoodwinked into signing adult during their phone’s set-up process. That’s not to contend it doesn’t have a few nifty facilities though, with drag-and-drop media pity arch among them.
Still, deliberation a outrageous series of people logging into WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and BBM each day here in a UK, I’d be astounded if many of those 100 million call these satisfactory shores home.
But feel giveaway to scold me! Are we a happy ChatOn user? If so, what’s done it your messaging customer of choice? And, in a some-more expected box that we use a opposition service, that one do we cite and why? [Samsung]
