Schaumburg Metra station gets Wi-Fi

The village of Schaumburg has announced the addition of a free public Wi-Fi access point at the Schaumburg Metra station.

Metra customers are welcome to connect to the new service which will provide much faster Internet access for any Wi-Fi-enabled laptop or smart phone.

The connection name is: SchaumburgPublicWIFI. There are no fees or charges for the service. Please refer to your owner’s manual for instructions on how to connect your device to public (unsecured) Wi-Fi access points. The village will not provide technical support for any device specific issues.

To report an outage, please call 311 or submit a Customer Service Request at villageofschaumburg.com once you have access to an active Internet connection.
