Ahead of a Mobile World Congress, that opens in Barcelona today, Huawei has presented a new top-of-the-range Ascend P2 smartphone.

Chinese phone-maker Huawei was one of a initial manufacturers to benefaction a new handset for this year’s MWC. And Huawei isn’t doing things by halves, as a Ascend P2 is a firm’s new flagship smartphone.

Huawei is billing a Ascend P2 as “the world’s fastest 4G LTE smartphone“. It runs on a 1.5 Ghz quad-core processor, is 8.4 mm thick and boasts a 4.7” Gorilla Glass 2 IPS HD shade with 720 x 1280 pixels. The arrangement also integrates Magic Touch record that means it can be used when wearing gloves.

The Ascend P2 uses high-speed Category 4 LTE information networking, that promises downloads during adult to 150 Mbit/s. It uses a 2420 mAh battery and has NFC support. Huawei has also installed a P2 with a home-grown QPC and ADRX record that promises softened energy potency while creation charging adult to 25% faster than “competitors“.
