Motorola, Immersion End Touchscreen Patent Tussle

Law360, New York (November 27, 2012, 7:01 PM ET) — Touchscreen creation dilettante Immersion Corp. on Tuesday announced a allotment with Google Inc.’s Motorola Mobility to solve a fit alleging Motorola’s Android smartphones transgress Immersion’s patents.

The allotment hinges on a permit agreement fake between Immersion, Motorola and Google on destiny shipments of some of Motorola’s Google-branded devices, including a Droid Razr, Droid 3, Droid Bionic, Photon, Droid X2, Atrix, Atrix 2, Admiral and Xprt. Immersion will accept remuneration for before and destiny shipments of a mobile devices, though sum were not revealed.
