Daily understanding site 1saleaday is offering a Motorola Atrix 4G Lapdock for $49.99, and $5 shipping for $54.99 total.
The lapdock is a singular early-adopter underline that uses a hypervisor in all new modernized Motorola smartphones called Motorola Webtop. The hypervisor launches a full Linux sourroundings finish with desktop Firefox and Adobe Flash. The lapdock afterwards facilitates a laptop-style interface for accessing web content, regulating your phone’s hotspot/tethering plan.
However, a hacking intensity for Webtop is many greater. Any secure Webtop phone can afterwards run any Linux focus gathered for ARM, including Google’s Chromium core browser.
The Atrix lapdock is not primarily concordant with newer phones, like Atrix 2, DROID RAZR, and DROID BIONIC. This can be resolved by stealing a few screws, and simply rotating around a lapdock’s connector. We’ve finished this ourselves, and it is easy adequate to finish in about 15 to 30 minutes.
In fact, we’ll post a print how-to for those endangered about a problem of a process. If you’re tech-savvy, and we like bleeding-edge technology, a Lapdock is a good choice for when your laptop runs out of power. It’s cheaper than many laptop batteries. At PhoneNews.com we use them around a bureau to coop articles and extend a Evernote stacks.
Note: While a tradesman says this is refurbished, many we have perceived (and perceived reports of also confirm) that they’re mostly code new units (in ATT packaging).
